Enter Shu Uemura Eye Lash Curlers. Favoured by professional make up artists everywhere (I'm talking world wide here). So after hearing all the glowing reports i had to at least see what all the fuss was about.

Well, i have to say i'm impressed. what a difference they made. Now my eye lashes look completely symmetrical  when i apply mascara.

They curl eyelashes by at least 100% and lashes look so much better even after application of mascara. The eye opens up more.

My only slight gripe with them is that they are probably better on a more rounded eye (mine are almond shaped) as curlers gripped my middle eyelashes and curled them while missing ones on the outer edge of the eye and inner corner. So i had to use curlers in 3 stages across the entire eye to make the lashes even. That is only a slight negative though.

Are they worth £20.00?  (Price as of August 2012)

They do have a lovely design, are easy to hold and are very strong.

Come with a spare silicon pad.

Have clear instructions for use on the box.

Do not leave any ridges on the lashes.

Do not pinch the skin and are designed to be very safe to lashes and eye area.

Guaranteed for approx. 6 months (3 months per pad) although i reckon your getting a year at least if you take care of them.

In answer to the question .....YES !

Shu Uemura Eye Lash Curler Review

Being born with naturally long eye lashes, i have always thought i would never need eye lash curlers, wrong! When i noticed that the eyelashes on my right eye were starting to sag slightly (yes, weird i know) i thought what do i do?

I started by adding more mascara to the eyelashes on the right eye than the left, only to find the weight of the extra mascara just added to the sagging problem. I never thought that eye lash curlers would ever make a difference. I tried them once when i was a teenager and they didn't make the slightest bit of difference to the curling ability of my lashes at all.
